I am all for fan-made videos -- and really appreciative of the sentiment here, too. I think that having some different perspectives on presenting the game could be really valuable for bringing in new players, for sure. It's not something I would ask for, but if people want to do this (since you brought it up) we're of course extremely grateful that you'd even think of it.
: ) does have a good point about about how difficult it is to show the game in a really tactical light, though. This is something I've been thinking about myself for a long time, obviously, and you can see a definite progression in my own videos as I think I've gotten better at it. But it's definitely not really fully "there" yet. I do plan to do more videos, probably when we release a Mac/Unity version of the game in the July/August timeframe (current plan), and then of course a trailer video specific to the next expansion early next year, too. Whether I do some more training videos or not, we'll see -- it all depends on my time availability, really, as to what I will be able to do myself. The game is constantly changing, and so that adds some extra complexities in there, but I think the current training videos are still quite applicable as far as what they present information-wise.
But yeah, having something more brief and more exciting that really conveys the idea of AI War and gets people excited about the game -- a really awesome trailer, in other words -- is something that has eluded me...
