yeah the armoured warhead sounds good but I didn't think nukes worked on fortresses
Last time I looked, nukes killed everything.  >D
MkI nukes level a single system and break supply.  Basically the system is uninhabitable.
MkII nukes level the system and all others around it.  I think.
MkIIIs...  >D How do you feel about turning a whole galaxy into a glass crater?

Yeah, but that does not mean that units with immunity will also die. Nuke immunity is still nuke immunity.
It will however put most stuff down.

I thought the lore was that Mark 5 ships didn't exist three weeks ago. :p

If no Mark 5 ships exist, then why do I have Mark 5 fighters?  >D

Mk5 = Core

Also, while normal fortresses are "nuke immune" they still require supply.
The best part about nuking a fort is that it will detect that it can't hit your stuff, so it flies closer to get in range :D

Edit:
holy jebus ze toyps.

Regarding three weeks ago:

Quote from: AI War Wiki
After the two AIs decided to work together, they eradicated us in a matter of days.

That was three weeks ago

And I heard somewhere that Mk5 was something the AI invented during that time.

Don't recall where it was officially mentioned by Arcen/Chris, but there was a Steam forum thread asking whether AI War could beat 40K in one of those internet pissing contests*. The person explaining AI War to the uninitiated made the claim there.

*(interestingly enough, the answer seems to be "yes", by virtue of the AI's R&D speed vs. that of the grimdark future's).
