No magnitude thoughts, but I just realized the Regen Golem could also be turned into a giant Decoy Drone.  Obviously with costs improvements and/or Vampirism.  Just another possibility.

I voted Cost decrease, Vampireisim, and Other. The Other? NO SELF ATTRITION. That more than anything else kills this one for me. I've never used it beyond the first time after seeing it just kill itself while I couldn't repair it enough because it was so expensive. Or, if you really must keep self attrition, give it a huge cost decrease. On that note, can it revive things like starships. I don't recall if it did.

On the question of buff magnitudes:

Cost reduction: perhaps start with reducing it to 50% of its current cost, since that makes it tied with the Armored and Black Widow Golems for non-Botnet most expensive golem, rather than being tied with the Botnet Golem for most expensive golem.

Vampirism: perhaps 25% of damage dealt, to start with? Assuming vampirism works that way.

Health: no idea.

I don't know what Regen Golem need in way of buffs. So I am hesitant to say what is need.

I do definitely know that anti-blob tactic is almost the litereally bane of regen golem. Since it is clear that we can't take out anti-blob. So Instead how should we approach and change regen golem to make it useful on the offensive? Vamprisim? Repair beams? Less cost? I have no idea.

FYI, this is what's in for 6.013 for the regen golem:

** Instead of having self-attrition (100% to 0% in 2 hours) it now has self-regeneration (0% to 100% in 4 hours).
** AIP-on-activation (for golems-medium) from 25 => 15.
** Base Health from 200M => 400M.
** Metal/Crystal "build" cost (these are never built, but this impacts repair costs) from 20M/20M to 10M/10M.
** Now has vampirism (heals itself by the damage it does).

My guess is that the result will be OP, but will be a net gain for fun of the game, and we can figure out if/what nerfs it needs after playtesting.  But if anyone sees anything obviously off (is vampirism with its current weapon simply way-out-there-too-strong, etc), feel free to chime in.  6.013 will probably not be out until next Tuesday.

I just amended those to include viral shredders now, yes.  Not autobombs, though, as they're a bit of a raw deal when you can't rebuild them.
