Hi Pia,

Are you playing the the latest betas?  Space tugs were removed from the game in those, but some of the text referring to them wasn't properly removed.  That's cleaned up in the next release.  Thanks!

Will post in mantis but can we get the MRS in frd mode to cruse around repairing ships on station or is the plan to let engies do that out of range out of mind repair work?

Exactly.  This is a mobile repair station that you can set up, and it does heal stuff in an enormous range, but it's more for combat situations.  You wouldn't want it roaming around during a battle, which is where it's for.

I'll miss the tugs, I quite liked building them.  :'(
I always built some once I got rolling to be in my offensive support group, although many was the time I couldn't stop laughing as they kept pulling ships away to get repaired in the middle of battle. The best one was the one massive Golem I had repaired and was using as the anchor of an attack, and over and over the little tug kept grabbing the monstrous golem and dutifully taking him back for repairs.  ;D

In my version of the AI War lore, the humans end up winning by dragging the AI Core Station into a turret blob with a space tug.
