I think VotM is underpriced

For the record, I considered VotM fairly priced, it lacks no "anchor" that either the Spire campaign nor AS campaign brought. It was a lot of minor stuff.  It had lots of "cool, nice to have" things but no features that made me think " I need this now"

Yea, I've kind of gone off demos as part of our own business model (we keep providing them to some extent, but purely from a customer service standpoint), but I think they still definitely have a place in the model of someone like Matrix.  If I tried a demo of Distant Worlds I might well be convinced to take the plunge on a more-significant-than-usual expense, or perhaps put it on a wishlist somewhere and a relative might buy it for me for some occasion, etc.

I guess I could look up some LPs of Distant Worlds, come to think of it, but I've never really made the transition personally to getting info on potential purchases that way.

If one doesn't like LP's, what other choice does a player have to get more in depth examining of a game then demos? I'm trying to examine the disconnect of not using LP's but also not providing demos. I for one, cannot have the patience for LP's, purely because my own ADD and gaming knowledge makes me wants to take things much, much faster then any youtube video could possibly give most of the time, yet rarely I want to ponder for minutes on a potential strategy.
