My slightly red/green colourblind eyes are having a bit of trouble with Rev02.

Was Rev01 better for you?

Mhh.. You have to say which part is troubling you (ie which color) or if its the background or the smaller icon

I attached the final revision down below which has a revised orange version and all the icons (military and non military) to choose from..

I am 50% red/green blind... rev 01 was definitely unworkable, otherwise i'd have not revised it ;)

I still have a red / white version which i called high contrast military .. i attached it here now as well - if you still have problems with that report back  ;)

(Personally i would not advise for using the high contrast version though..)

By the way - Rev 03 rar includes ALL color variations but you have to copy them over manually.. Green is civilian and the other reds/oranges are military

The high contrast.rar is a seperate set which has white icons - white on dark red shouldn't trigger any color blindness.. but it looks mighty ugly ;p

Also rev 03 includes revised green icons - with better contrast they are not the same icons as rev 02 or rev 01...

If it's of interest to anyone, here's a color scheme generator that allows you to simulate how color contrasts look to persons with varying color perception issues:

Note the "Vision Simulation" menu in the upper right.

Color blindness in all honors but military has to be red and civilian has to be green  :D I can shift green into blue-green and red into orange but thats it... i can't shift green into yellow , because thats too close to .. you guessed it, orange and i can't shift red to violet, because violet is ugly and too close to blue (which i already use..) ;D

Well rev 03 should cover everyone, but that said, i made this for me ;p

Which one of that though ;) Rev 03 has 3 variations for military :D

Also x4000 i made 3 extra icons in both green and red (also included in all variations) so you have 3 more icons available to put on golems/starships and high priority buildings 6 if you count the same variations in green as well

Also just so its mentioned, the scout starship is currently in civilian (even though it has weapons)

It does?  So many changes, I'm losing track of them all!

Does that re-open the defensive cloaking behavior question?   :P

(If it isn't implemented yet, maybe Colony Ships be some other colour, slightly different than the normal non-combatant structures and units?  Would be useful in quick scenarios--and no, not only because Colony Ships are so awesome, but to quickly select them.)
I'd take a sea worm any time over a hundred emotionless spinning carriers.

There is a quick button at the bottom of the screen for colony ships already.  There are far too many possible scenarios for doing color-coding of individual ships on the planetary summary.
