Galaxy view data display question

I'm not sure when it got changed, but is there any way to have the galaxy view display units like it did before?  As in not always displaying allied unit counts in parentheses no matter what.  I think the previous way was much easier to read with the selected units viewed while the units in shelters such as transports, regen chambers, etc. were in parentheses.
