I understand the basic principles behind attack-move and FRD, but I'm learning there are some quirks. For example, having placed some ships in a hostile system on attack-move, they (very rapidly) blew up the enemy command station (which I didn't actually want blown up, and didn't explicitly target). I'm curious, does attack-move negate the normal ship behavior of waiting for an ok before attacking targets of this sort? How far does that go? That is, would they do something absurd like blow up an uncaptured advanced factory?
Anyway, I suppose I'm asking what I need to know about these stances that isn't covered in the basic description in the manual, so as to avoid unpleasant surprises in the future.
