Dyson help
« on: April 16, 2011, 10:40:29 am »
If I build a command station on the Dyson planet for few seconds, just to keep control of a golem and advanced research center, and after I destroy it, will the Dyson change behaviour and start again to help me?
Thanks

Yup. Seems the devs are teasing us a bit as I find the Dyson planet always has a Golem/ARS/Core fab/[insert reason you want the planet]. :)

That's funny, in perhaps a dozen games played with the Dyson I can't recall ever seeing something of value on that planet. I guess it's just further proof that "random" in this game really is random. :)

Dysons spawn in a certain stance, and will remain in that stance for their entire life.  All the dyson spawn that have already spawned and are patrolling your planets as allies will remain as such, but the Dyson Sphere will start spamming out hostile dysons, which will remain as such until they're destroyed.  A decently sized group of bombers will chew through the Dyson Gatlings though since they have heavy or ultra heavy armor, can't remember which.  A full cap of mk1 bombers should be more than enough to deal with the dyson spawn from having a command station up for a couple seconds.
