This is something that is really called into question at this stage, unfortunately. With our upcoming plans to switch to Unity 3D for AI War (and thus gain a host of functionality, plus Mac support, plus other interface improvements, loading speed improvements, etc), we're then going to be limited to what Unity 3D supports as an engine. And one thing they currently lack: multi-monitor support. There are a few solutions for that with the current Unity 2 versions, but they are kind of hokey. The new Unity 3 is coming this summer, and by the time we switch AI War to that platform the version 3 should be out, but I don't know precisely what all features will be in there at that time. This is still something I would like to do, as I myself run multiple monitors, but we'll have to see what the technology platforms allow in the near term. Even if it's not possible when we initially switch to Unity for this game, that might be a feature that can be added further down the line at worst case; we'll just have to see. We might even be able to do some clever things with literally having two copies of the game running on one computer or similar (which would require more cores, though), which incidentally is also possible now to some extent.Lots of factors to consider here, but at the moment this one is definitely going to have to be on hold until after the Unity changeover at the earliest. At the moment, my target for starting the Unity changeover work is July (basically right after Tidalis comes out), but we'll see -- that's subject to change, and it might not happen until we start working on the second expansion. But I'd really like to do the changeover earlier if at all possible, because I think it will be a major positive change for the game. We'll see how it goes!
