The buff looks pretty good overall.  I probably won't go out of my way to get Attractor Drones, but I won't avoid them like the plague either ;)

Quote
** No longer reduce the damage done by laser weapons to nearby allies; instead they now attract laser fire against nearby allies to target them instead (much as the Youngling Weasel does with missiles).
*** Please, if you know a physicist please prevent them from thinking too much about this: it could pose serious health risks.

So that's what they used the Higg's Boson for!

Actually, it's easier than that.  The Attractor Drone emits a signal that attracts laser targeting controls, which is why only lasers are affected.  You would think they would have made it redirect the lasers to empty space though...I guess hindsight is 20:20.  A better question is:  how do you create a Flame Wave in space, which is an extremely cold vacuum?
My other bonus ship is a TARDIS.

A lignite-iron reaction.

Is this a reference?

Unfocused plasma. A vacuum is a great insulator.

Yes, and obscenely obscure.

If we got it correct, can we post it? Or are we not allowed to spoil it?

If my ridiculous references actually warrant explanation, go for it :)

Well, since I want to know if I am right, I am going to say it was Dwarf Fortress. Btw that was a REALLY fast reply.

Yep, DF.  A curious bug where dropping lignite into an iron bin (or the other way around, I forget) basically touched off a self-sustaining thermal reaction of intense power.

Given what I know of DF, are you sure that was a bug?  >D

I was going to say DF but that seemed too pedestrian for the standards of this community :D

Yeah Dwarf Fortress seemed too easy for how often it's referred to.

I never said I'm complex.
