Custom search, visibility, and intel

Question: is it intentional that thing I try to filter with custom search only shows up on map if I have visibility of that system but not others, even though I have intel of other systems (Example: System A and B has an Eye, I have intel on both systems,  I have visibility on system B, when I filter out eye, it only shows system B)? It's so annoying when I tried to filter things out and it just doesn't show because I don't have visibility...

Also, Special Force Guard Post is listed twice on Narrow search...one doesn't seem to work though...

It's intentional for things that could conceivably have moved since you last had vision of the planet.  For eyes and other permanent stuff it's not intentional.  You could mantis that :)

One of those is the no-AIP-on-death version from the zenith trader, iirc.  Many object types are near-clones of others, so it's a bit misleading sometimes.
