Cursed golem description is poor

For some reason I can't start a new topic inside any of the subforums so it will be here until a moderator moves it.

However the thing is those broken golems called "Cursed golems", and just like the title says their description is poor. Whenever I find a golem I think "Oh man this is awesome what kind of super duber mega ability does this huge ship has." Well in the description for Cursed golems it says: "Damaging itself over time" AND THATS IT! It doesn't even say if it can shoot! I mean of course it can shoot but.... is it powerful to be a golem? is it very weak overal? Doese he eat cake on Sundays? No the epic thing about this golem is that it looses health over time..............................................oh great.

Well I am not saying that the golem sucks cause I havn't test it yet but a better description of it would be good. Advantages and disadvantages, should be in all description without spoiling any good strategy the player might want to come up to him- herself.

The reason that none of the subforums can be posted in is that this stuff goes in mantis now...

Its special ability was vampirism at the release of the Zenith remnant expansion, and it became the worst golem by far when it lost that.. But with the recent golem changes it now has a ton of firepower, though its still disposable/expensive. The description isn't emphasizing its strengths, and they are there if you look for them. It can go on a rampage and clear out tons of worlds when supported with a fleet/forcefields with very little opportunity cost on easy/hard mode. On medium i wouldn't bother with it.. the cost is too great

I would support a cake eating Golem.

Named after the obvious reference involving cake of course.

From the last time I've used it, it's certainly having an identity crisis. 
I'd take a sea worm any time over a hundred emotionless spinning carriers.

You can't have your cake golem and eat it...

Currently each golem has something unique that makes it worth taking:
- Black widow: Engine damage + tractor beams = Interference
- Hive: Hive ability = Support (use ability, retreat, repeat while taking little damage)
- Armoured: Heavily armoured = Tank
- Botnet: Zombify = Support (similar to hive, but what you gain in firepower you lose by being forced to fight to make the ability to work)
- Cursed: Erm... loses health faster than other golems = ???

Perhaps change the description to something along the lines of: This golem's firepower is so great that it's reactors and weapons systems tear themselves apart at a rate far greater that even its bretheren.? It'd give the player a reason to go after the golem, rather than just ignore it in pursuit of one of the others.

...and while it may be true that the cursed golem has great stats, you can't seem them when you look at the broken golem!

Well... if it still has 603k or whatever range, it's still... interesting.  Possibly makes it better than the artillery golem in that respect.  :p

Well... if it still has 603k or whatever range, it's still... interesting.  Possibly makes it better than the artillery golem in that respect.  :p

The range is nice, but how can you see it when all that is in the system is a broken cursed golem ;)
