Hi,

I search for the term, but did not find thread aimed directly at this approach. Any pointers for me?

ps: why I don't find any datacenter, whereas I explored 20 worlds. True, I got 4 processors though... Are datacenter further ahead?

pps: Any advice on black hole machine, at 10 AIP they are a PITA to remove...

It's possible you just haven't come across any datacenters yet.  Also possible that your map does not have any but that is unlikely.
And also, I don't think they will show up on the map if you are searching for them in the galaxy view if you haven't seen what is on that planet with a scout or a ship that gathers scout intel such as a champion.

And as far as Black Hole Machines go...if you can't avoid going through the path that system is on, the only way to destroy the BHM without taking the AIP hit is to capture the system so the BHM becomes yours.  Then scrap it, but obviously it will cost 20 AIP to kill and colonize the system.  Otherwise if you can't avoid that system and don't wanna capture it, you have to take the penalty in AIP to destroy it and get past.

On a similar issue, I've been wondering yesterday (I could just use logic, but ah...my brain, you know?) - is there a way to destroy Raid Engines without incurring those extra 5 AIP?

No actually.  You gotta stay 2 hops away from them to avoid their wrath or kill em.

Pro tip: DO NOT kill a border system of one with a Raid Engine...especially the border system to a HW with a Core Raid Engine.  It's...rather...painful...  Made that mistake once. 

If I have to kill a regular one, it is my number one priority to do so ASAP and at as little AIP as possible.
