Not sure if its needed since both are already on the list, but add another for command station hacking and the scout behavior tweak.

A second nomination is not necessary. One is enough to get the idea on the following week's poll! Feel free to use your nomination on some other piece of content that you'd like to see, even if you're already planning on voting on those other nominations.

I'm changing my nomination to http://arcengames.com/forums/index.php/topic,3671.msg24047.html#msg24047 -- Civilian Command Stations!
Avid League player and apparently back from the dead!

If we weren't going for your money, you wouldn't have gotten as much value for it!

In that case, I'll nominate this one. Retain x number of most recent autosaves: http://arcengames.com/forums/index.php/topic,293.0.html

I nominate the following, at least for the time being. I guess it counts as a new unit, though the features are the main point, not so much the unit itself:

Patrol Points

Mainly along my ideas posted there, but without discarding raptor331's original either. ;)

I would like to nominate this idea, the option to buy more than one licence and enter (up to 8?) into your game for the purposes of hosting full games for people who have downloaded the demo.
Originally suggested by Shadewalker here:

http://arcengames.com/forums/index.php/topic,3565.msg24090.html#msg24090

As the demo is already a locked full version, this may not be too difficult to implement.
If this were implemented I would use it, I did enjoy buying an extra licence to give to a friend so we could play, but now when I recommend the game to people, the main selling point - the full co-op game - is not really something I can afford share with them, since I lost my riches when my throne was usurped by my evil stepbrother and now I have to wander like a peasant until some simple country folk (who turn out to be very heroic and/or reincarnated archmages - and also royalty, but I don't find out until I have fallen in love with the best looking one, who is just a peasant) go on a quest to restore the throne to it's rightful holder....

With the volume of suggestions that are being provided, i propose that the number of nominations be increased to 1 that can only be used on a tweak and one that  may be used on a tweak or new feature. there would be 3 votes and 1 would be for one of your nominations and 2 for others.

[Yes i know we're on the verge of becoming bureaucratic but this is painfully slow given the number of things there is to nominate]

I have to disagree. Sure there are tons of suggestions and we'd love to get the ball rolling on a great number of them at a time. But bear in mind the bottleneck is the amount of time that Chris and Keith can spend programming the game, not the pace at which the community proposes and votes on ideas. There are still 3 suggestions that "won" last weeks voting that arent in the game yet. If we move this too fast, we're just going to end up with a long list of "winners" that haven't been put in the game yet, and we'll be right back at square 1 (too many suggestions and no clue what to do first), and our time spent on this will have been invariably wasted.

If we run into a situation where things are being added faster than the turnaround of the polls, we can think about upping the amount of nominations. Unless that happens, I think the pace is just fine.

I better start churning out ideas then :) ;)

It seems as if there are more interesting nominations this week than we have votes for and I'm wondering if some sort of nomination cap might be in order. I'm already seeing at least 6 items that I'd like to vote for this time which leads to some serious scrutiny in my choices...all of which I would love to see implemented. Two precious votes spanning 15+ nominations is spreading it a bit thin, IMO.

I think the point is to vote for the ones you'd want most at this time, not every single thing you have some support for. :3 Otherwise it'd be harder to weed out the most preferred things.

Suggestions can also be renominated next week, so you can pick two favorites this week and vote for them, then vote for two others next week. If they've not been nominated, then nominate one of them yourself, etc.

Since the friendly planet scout behavior node was added recently (yay!) I need to change my nomination. Digging one out of the oldy moldy pile is this gem: http://arcengames.com/forums/index.php/topic,496.0.html

In summary, the idea is for displaying the timers for warp attacks on the galaxy map, along with a few additions that I've added at the end of the thread.

For now I'd suggest keeping it to one vote per person because at least from my perspective I'm looking for "what do they really really want right now?".  Not everything is doable short time, but that doesn't tend to impact desire ;)

If it proves troublesome maybe next time change things around.

Edit: saw the note about allowing 2 for now since people vote for their own nomination; good point.
