Changes to Zenith Starship or New Ship?

Hello,

I lost my home command station to an exo strike-force. The strike-force contained a Zenith starship mk V which shot right through a bunch of forcefields at the home command station and destroyed it.
Is this a change to the Zenith starship or a new ship? Or did I miss another enemy ship which killed my home command station?

The Zenith Starship won't do that.  Do you have a save from before the station went down?  Posting that would help
