Just turn down their health or speed by like 10%. Let's not overstate the usefulness of their bulletproof and instagib immunity. We all know that missiles are the primary slayer of these things, and instagib can easily target another craft with an  equally or more important role.

Ok, for 3.029 I'm fiddling a bit more than initially planned, let me know what you think:

Metal cost * 2
Crystal cost * 0.5
Attack recharge * 1.05
Attack range * 1.05
Health * 1.1
Shields * 0.8
Engine Health * 1.5
Min Hit Percent *1.2 (is 30% for fighters)
Ship Cap * 0.9

The idea is that they are heavier fighters and thus not produced in the same numbers (but close).  The total m+c cost is now 25% higher.

I'm happy to change any/all of the numbers, just tell me why :)

Thanks,
Keith

Sounds great to me.  I don't think they should be significantly weaker than fighters, just different and with different uses, and this seems to accomplish that.

This.

And do they keep the ion immunity and shell immunity? Cause that gives them unique uses :)

They're still ion- and shell- immune :)

That's basically the "why this is a special pick" part of the ship.  The other differences are just for making them a little more unique.

Sounds good to me ;)

I found a nice tactic innvolving fighters, so they already fitted into my strategy, now even more.

Just out of curriosity, what happens if you load a save where you got more then the cap of a unit? :)

Nothing, really, you just can't build (or be gifted) more until you drop below the cap.

I think these are also immune to reclaimation, precisely because all reclaiming ships use shells.
