Bugged or just OP?

When the AI ships came trough the wormhole I couldn't do anything but look at them and laugh hysterically. That's 10 Mad Bomber and apparently it's impossible. ???

For humans the ship cap is 19/24/whatever.. and there's ~120/~120 ??? LOL



EDIT: Yep I lost. I'd have destroyed all of them if the bombards weren't immune to Snipers.... zzzzzzzzz

Just OP.  Ship Caps are used as ratio guidelines, basically, for the AI Wave calculations.

Basic Turrets and some other turrets used to have radar dampening in 5.049 patch but not anymore (5.050)?? Is this intentional? If the turrets still had radar dampening I might have won that fight.

Only Mk. II turrets and up have radar dampening. He didn't want to make thing too easy. ;)

Not a bug, it's just the Mad Midnight Bomber What Bombs At Midnight :)

They get some preposterous wave multiplier, and barely reinforce defensively at all.

Ye well.. Zenith Descendant is even harder.. LOL..
First wave: 200 MarkI-III Zenith Beam Frigates + few starships.. not sure if there was IIIs.

ZDs get +40 effective AIP when launching waves, so they're harder very early on, but once you're past 30 or so AIP I think the mad bomber is harder.
