Added a colon after nomination just in case Keith searching for "*Nomination:"
In practice the key string is "*Nom".

*Nomination: Harvesters, player side

I would prefer if those were removed from the game and all harvesters increased by 10 or something. They are WAY too excellent, they make a 15h game into a 10h game, but outside of making the game shorter (which can be simulated in solo games by pressing the + key or by not playing while resources pile up), they provide a grand total of 0 fun. I like fun. Let's have shorter games with 9000 more fun.

*Nomination: Shield bearers, Player-side

These are bar none the most effective bonus ship in the entire game, regardless of style of play, game settings, opponents, everything. I think they should actually become a base ship with slightly lower stats as they are really fun, but right now as they are they are one of the handful of things my gaming group bans if we are trying to have a balanced game as they are *so* good, we would need to play at difficulty 9+ to make up for them but thats no fun for quick games.

*Nomination: Core Raid Engine, AI side

Someone mentioned them earlier and i have to agree. Those are sometimes just right, but there are some cases where they are more or less a game ender. In some AI homeworld configurations it is almost impossible to reach them early, making taking down that homeworld a choice of adding 2-3h or just quitting the game to avoid the grind.

I would like to add the following.

*Nomination: Shield bearers, AI-side.

A pile of those things is nasty. As soon as the AI gets them, my defenses all go from able to stop to withstand waves, to finding AI units deep in my territory. And Hunter killers are so hard to kill under them.

They are one of the most useful and powerful bonus ships. Outside of Maws, they are the only ship that I would be willing to trade any two bonus ships for. They are just that useful. Throw Maws with them and you got a anti-wave fleet that can happy eat any wave that does not have anything larger then a fleetship.

*Nomination: Missile Guard Post, AI-side

That much damage with that much range is fine. Having many different 6x multipliers on top of all that is not. Maybe bump down the multipliers to 3x or something. IDK.

Come to think of it, I think that most if not all of the "high power" guard posts should not have high multipliers.

EDIT: Now that I see that most of the new guard posts have some pretty darn high power levels, they too shouldn't have 6x. However, even though the others could use a multiplier nerf, they don't need it as much as the missile guard post because their range is not as huge.

Just want to mention, the Anti-Starship Guard Post is terribly under-powered compared to other Guard Posts against Starships because of the multiplier issue.  In my Raid Starship AAR, Missile and MLRS are much more painful than Anti-SS.

Wait, there's an Anti-Starship Guardpost?

Btw in the game I'm playing, I brought a Cursed Golem onto a planet, and as I was leaving I realized it was being fired at by 2 long-range missile guard posts.  Yeah, they did so much damage to it that each shot was taking about 10% of its health.  Crazy stuff.
