Game end
« on: October 31, 2010, 11:03:39 pm »
How does a campaign end?

I never made it through the tutorial campaign because it crashed. My real campaign I completed primary objectives, it says I won in nice green letters, but it's still going?

Thanks!

If you killed both AI's then you won the game on those settings and against that pair of AIs. The game doesn't quit. Some people like to go on and capture everything etc.

I hoped you like the game -- you can make it very different by bumping the AI up to 7-8 turning on minor factions and AI plots, and choosing different AI opponents

There is no Huge cut-scene declaring the Galaxy safe for Humans (maybe some day)

I noticed in the after-action report section some people had summary screens... is that just found under the stats tab, then?

I definitely have way, way more to experience with the game, as this was really low difficulty just to get used to it.

Thanks for the reply

I dont know if the summary screen has made the jump to 4.00 yet.  Kieth would know that answer.

According to X4000 the stats from the summary screen are now always available via the "STATS" button. Graphs haven't made the transition to 4.000 yet

Awesome, thanks.

Taking some getting used to this.. so different from everything else out there. Including the forums and feature/bug reporting and all that jazz. So interactive and rapidly responsive. Majorly impressed.

The community has grown so big that the developers started using Mantis bug tracker to track suggestions as well as bug reports. The forums are great for discussion but hard to search effectively  :)
