Widow Dire Guardians can "stack" paralysis

The AI Widow dire guardian can "stack" the paralysis, allowing the paralyzed time to stack up to over a minute!

Notable, because the Widow Golem cannot do that. Doesn't seem right, and has been directly responsible for a few losses even though we were able to kill the dire widow golem rather quickly.

If dire guardian tier is supposed to be > golem tier, maybe this is fine. If dire guardian tier is supposed to be < golem tier, this is not fine. Either let both stack, neither, or golem only in that case.

Somewhat related and also annoying: Ships that are tractored and paralyzed by the Widow golem get one free shot on it, and if those ships are bombers, the Widow Golem gets shredded. I'm sure that this is because tractored ships are considered always in range, and the ships are shooting between tractoring and paralysis.
I'm not sure whether this is true for the Dire Widow Guardian.

I just tested with a black widow and the paralysis timer on the victims counted up at roughly 1 per second.  The mechanic is to add 2 seconds per second (so one is immediately consumed, etc), and it's just a boolean flag rather than an int or whatever, so I don't see how the two units could be doing it differently.  Do you have a save that demonstrates this?
