steam registration question

I have purchased the base game and the first two expansions through Steam. I know that I can pre-purchase the new expansion directly from Arcen and it will work correctly with my game installed from Steam. However, I'm wondering if I can register the new expansion with Steam anyway. The reason I ask is that if I reinstall the game at some point, steam will provide for me all of my serial numbers so that I can activate all the various expansions. It would be nice to have all of my keys in the same place (in Steam).

So, does anyone know if I can (or rather will be able to after release) register the new expansion with Steam?

Our goal is for you to be able to register any LotS key in Steam once it is officially released.  That worked with the last expansion, but for previous cases it's taken up to two weeks for the necessary requests to go through.  And we have no guarantee that the request will be granted this time, but we have no reason to believe that it will not be.

In that case, how do I register my Children of Neinzul key with Steam?  I don't see any option to do so in the store or in my library.

Go to games, and click on Activate a Product on Steam.  Put in the Arcen's Game serial in, and it will register it to your account.  If you uninstall or anything like that, Steam will give you a key to activate your copy now that it is registered through steam, so you won't need your original cd-key anymore.  Hope this helps.
