So I decided to start a new AI War game this evening, been way too long since I got into it. I'm using the Linux version* (Steam, under Arch Linux, tried both 32 and 64 bit), and I can't seem to figure out how to open the context menu to send my scouts on auto-explore. It lists it as Alt-Right Click in the Mouse controls section, but that doesn't cause anything to pop up.

Am I missing something, like a different shortcut for the context menu? I know I can bind specific shorcuts for some of the commands, but I liked the context menu part personally.

Also as a side note, the pause key isn't recognized as pausing the game, even though it's listed as such in the controls menu. The P key works (when I have my layout set back to QWERTY), so that's not a big deal, but figured I'd mention it.

I've run into this one myself.  Some Linux distros (Ubuntu and OpenSUSE, at the least, and possibly others) default to having alt+RightMouse mean something to the window or display manager.  On my home computer, it moves the window.  I couldn't ever find a place to change that setting (since it isn't something I use), so I ended up changing AI War to use Ctrl+RightMouse for the context menu.
For the pause key:  On Linux, at least, the pause key actually pauses something with respect to the system.  P should pause the game by default.  I think there's a place to change that keyboard shortcut in the key binding settings.

Ah yes, I finally found where I had already rebound it to the Windows key myself. Thanks!

To free up alt + right click in XFWM4 (Xubuntu), I went into Xfconf -> XFWM4 -> general and changed "easy_click" to an empty string.
