I can think of either, as I said above, breaking all the bonus ships up based on the expansion they were released in, or to break them up based on what faction they belong to. So Zenith ships would be in their category for example.
Ow, yay! I love that idea: splitting ships on theme! I'll try to come up with a draft list.

Kind of getting the itch to get back into the game now :)
:D

EDIT:
Here is the list. The problem is: there is too many ships out of the three space races, and we can't divide AI and Humans.

Neinzul

Neinzul Railpod
Neinzul Scapegoat
Neinzul Youngling Commando
Neinzul Youngling Fireflie
Neinzul Youngling Nanoswarm
Neinzul Youngling Shrike
Neinzul Youngling Tiger
Neinzul Youngling Vulture

Spire

Spire Armor Rotter
Spire Blade Spawner
Spire Gravity Drain
Spire Gravity Ripper
Spire Maw

I think dividing the fleet ships by expansion pack is more effective, since that makes each list easier to read.

I've currently done also the Zenith Remnant ships

Was bored for a few minutes yesterday, remembered that I have a wiki account and fixed some typos on the Golem page. Are there other stupid/simple tasks you need done? I'm not an expert on game mechanics, etc. or anything, so I can't help you with those (other than typo hunting).

I noticed some useful "up to date for game version x.xxx" notices on some older ship, etc. pages. You might want to add those to new pages you create, so that you can see at a glance whether it's a new and improved page or not.

Well, I'm German, so...  ;D Proofreading is going to be limited to what catches my eye as a non-native speaker and that might not be all.

I'll start on finishing off the 'Fleet Ships' page with the rest of the expansion bonus ships.

I'm currently just copy+pasting the ship descriptions from the expansion wiki pages, if anyone has a more effecitve/up to date idea of what a certain ships desc should be then please feel free to add to it.

I'm also thinking of re-doing a new 'Hybrid Hives' page, as the current one is a tad out of date. As well as info on the Hybrid Hives being hard to find.

Nice! I'm currently tied by my work and I didn't edit the wiki since several days. It's good to see someone keeping the boat sailing.

I'm on a Linux machine and I use something like
grep -ri "XXX" AIWar/RuntimeData/{Expansions,Language}
with XXX being the ship's name to find its current description in the XML files.

This one needs a huge revamp, indeed. However I never really played with them (just once and thought "pain for no gain, not for me") and I don't know exactly all their mechanisms. If you do have some indepth knowledge of their mechanisms, please go ahead! That would be a neat addition for the plot list (all the other plots are rather simple).

More so I'm just taking the wiki descriptions of the ships. I was just asking if anyone who knows more about a certain ship (such as someone who oft uses Laser Gatlings) to give a more up to date quick description.

The actual mechanics don't seem to difficult to grasp. Its more that the Hybrids slowly "level up" in rank and gain access to better weapons and items, and responsibilities and actions. As well as the infrastructure aspect of it with the spawners and item spawners.

Ow my... You just made me realize that Hybrids are nothing less than contrary to an AI War's design philosophy: Ships are not upgradable.

I bet this is something that will need to be addressed for AIW2.

The upgrades seem more that as their rank increases they can bring more AI fleet ships with them on missions, gain access to higher tier modules and can take on more objectives.

Nice work!

Unfortunately, The racial ships are split across the expansions. I hesitate to make an alternative, per-race list (or maybe one page/list for each race). Bah, not very useful. Your job is good.

Do you know how to make changes to the "Ships and Structures" Navigation panel that's at the bottom of some pages? Because that one has some old links in it that should point to the new pages.

It's a Template. Good luck with that. I spent a lot of time cutting and copying stuff in it. It's like code surgery!
