AI War running faster when moving the mouse?

I've noticed that when I'm trying to speed through waiting for money (+10 speed, 166 ms Extremely Low) that the game runs much faster when I'm moving the mouse around the screen. On the stats screen it says ~400% game speed when I leave the mouse still and 1000%+ game speed when I'm moving it (and this is easily noticeable in game, everything is indeed moving at least twice as fast). Has anyone else seen this happening?

Same here.  At first I thought it was just my imagination, but it becomes very obvious when on +10 speed.

Based on the % game speed in the stats window, it seems to start at +6 with about a 20-30% speed boost.

It actually may be happening at lower speeds but it's not enough that I notice.

For the record at +10, my game goes from about 250% game speed with mouse not moving to 675% game speed with mouse moving. Based on the speed of the seconds counting up on the game clock, I think these game speeds are correct for my game.
