BobTheJanitor, you made me choke on my food by bringing up casette tape drives and load times.  Lord, wasn't that the truth.  Not only would they load for 15 minutes, but they loved to give you a read error in the 14th minute!

but seriously, other than my real life mates I've almost never heard of any1 else who knows of / plays those games

My real life friends play almost nothing I play.  Since high school, that's been a problem for me, and even before that a lot of the PC/Atari stuff I played no one else I've ever met had heard of.
I'm lucky then ^^ i only have like 2 RL friends and both share a sizable subset of interest with me for the same games :P

Avid League player and apparently back from the dead!

If we weren't going for your money, you wouldn't have gotten as much value for it!

Oh, wait... *causation loop detonates*

(the 2 Golden Sun games for the GBA is my number 1, but I doubt many of you have played them :P)

Oh please, if you want to bring up games nobody else has played, at least TRY :P

hahaha, I had hoped I'd get a response like that :P

There is a reason that games like AI War are not classified as "real life", they are actually improved-life, an altered existence which when utilized is better than your own.  It is fitting then that nobody in that inferior existence you call real life plays it :P
