It doesn't have the "Gathers Scout Intel" property though, so it's of rather limited use.

On that note, why are Resistance ships blind?

I still can see what's happening on the AI homeworlds. "Why, hello there Wrath Lance" [example]

Related to scouting: Do eyebots put planets on alert? I think they do, but I'm not sure. Haven't actually used them yet, but I got them from an ARS.

Update: 7.001 released to fix a bug with the fix to the scrapping-lightning-torpedoes-for-money exploit, and a few other things.

For some reason, my armor boosters totally ignore Hydras or their heads.

Do they ignore zero armor units? Since the 6.047 patch, I had assumed they would boost 0 armor units to a minimum of 1000. But I guess it makes sense they do nothing if there is absolutely nothing to start with.

I didn't realize they didn't boost zero armor units.  The idea was that they would.  Will look into that, thanks :)

Are Mobile Space Docks supposed to auto-repair super expensive things (such as ion cannons)? I've lost all my money in seconds flat from moving an MSD too close to an ion cannon.

They aren't supposed to, but they do anyways. In fact, all repair only assisters currently ignore the auto assist thing.

See 7210: Fortresses and Mobile Repair Stations do not honor the auto-assist cutoff

I think 7.0 is a -fantastic- release. Balance for 7 difficulty with almost no minor factions is spot on with only a few minor rough edges, at least with regards to my territory hungry playstyle. I'll have to start cranking up the difficulty soon, if I don't turn back on V.Gen, Civ Spires, etc. The whole fleet focus and guardian focus really comes together perfectly as well.

Oh, never noticed that about MSDs, despite using them heavily.  I guess I just kill all ion cannons.  Will take a look when I get a chance

Thanks, glad to hear you're having fun with it :)  I think 7.0 is a solid improvement on 6.0, which I think was a pretty solid release (I thought 5.0 was a bit overly rocky, if someone stayed on it without doing the betas).

I found a pair of minor issues with the galactic map filters: Ticket 11877

Mainly,
All (Strength) displays strength counts for the player, but not the AI.
Mobile Military (Units/Strength) counts scouts, guard posts.
Mobile Military (Units/Strength) does display (Units/Strength) as selected for both the player and AI, as intended.

Ok, i have it now, it is the tooltip of the ships in the ARS tab of the science menu. the tooltip reads:

Unlocks [Ship type] Mark II
Unlocking... will unlock the Mk I version of this ship type (the stats shown are for the mkII)
[Shows stats for the mk I]


it should read:
Quote

Unlocks [Ship type] Mark I
Unlocking... will unlock the MkI version of this ship type
[Shows stats for the mk I]

Oh, I just remembered! When in the Co-op game lobby, could you:
make "Stop Untangling" and just finishing detangling push that same map to the non-host lobby view?
