Well, imo anti-armors are now possibly a bit too powerful (I'm of the opinion that they were pretty much ok how they were before :)). I'll have to throw together a game to abuse them.

Edit: I'm in favor of the MLRS buff though :).

Edit2: On golems, I'd be happy to have them take a bit of a power hit in some fashion to lose the massive reinforcement bonuses.  I mean if it at best doubles my fleet strength, but gives the ai a huge reinforcement boost on entry(on say an unalerted world that hasn't been reinforced much yet), and 3x reinforcements while I'm there, then its pretty much a net loss even if it was free.

-The assistance boost rate of Mark II engineers is now 2.0 instead of 1.5.  The assistance boost rate of Mark III engineers is now 3.0 instead of 2.0

-The energy costs of the higher-level engineers now goes down instead of up, the shield rating of the mark II tier is now doubled, and the metal/crystal costs and time to build the higher-mark engineers is now reduced instead of increased versus the lower-level engineers.
I know there's a new version, but just wanted to say these changes are great :) Much more incentive to research engineers, now... Or steal them.

It only works for scouts since a few releases ago (since only scouts can go through an unexplored wormhole), and the key combination is a bit cantankerous about the order in which you press the keys.  It also only works when you have unexplored (not un-scouted) planets, of course.

I wasn't seeing this, but I'm sure I know what the lockups must have been related to.

Updates in 3.106:

-AI Unit coordination has been disabled, as it was causing lockups.
Ah, sorry, I could have told you that wasn't ready for prime-time, that's why I disabled it from the Avenger :)

Thanks!  Glad those are a hit. :)

Yeah, you did mention that, but I wasn't sure what the deal was.  I tested it some before the prerelease and it seemed not to be having any issues, so I figured I would try it out and see what happened (and we saw what happened  :P).  How far away is this from being ready for prime time?  The code seems pretty robust, and it would be a cool thing to have in place if it's just a couple of hours away from being ready.  If not, or if there are larger worries, we can just leave it off until after the next official release.

I actually wasn't getting any critical problems like lockups, so I don't know what was going on there, but in my tests the bombers escorting the avenger would randomly "lose it" when it went through a wormhole, despite the code explicitly trying to get them to go to it if it was off planet, etc.  Lots of mysterious behavior, and a few hours of debugging didn't really reveal the culprits.

And with it causing lockups in some cases for some people but not others... the big problem would be knowing when I was "done", in the sense of it working properly, which is a bit of a concern for reaching official-level stability.

Fair enough -- maybe good to hold off on it for now, then.
