Hey, new guy here on the block. Enjoying the heck out of AI war. IMO - It plays like a blend between SOASE and Supcom, but you've made improvements to both (bigger fleets, no building storage facilities and the best is the player gets to pick when a crescendo happens). I played through all the tutorials and just started a 50 planet scenario. You did an awesome job on the tutorials and the manual / wiki is very deep already. Thanks to all who have contributed.

I'll only get a few hours more before I'm gone for the holidays and it's great you have notes to attach to planets. That way I'll be able to come back after the new year and get caught up. I've got a few questions, but I'll browse the forums here to see if they've already been answered.

Great game and anyone else reading this - definately pick up AI war if you like RTS and single player. I've also got a few friends so when they get through the tutorial, COOP will be great.

Like most games today selling for $50?  Yeah, I know.

I have played AI War WAY more than most of my $50 games, so as far as the usual play time per dollar ratio goes, AI War is such a good value it would be silly not to own it if you're into Strategy games.

I just purchased the game today on steam.

I played through just the basic tutorial and was enjoying it. Wasn't sure if I was gonna have enough cash to buy it now or just pick it up in a few weeks at normal price, but after seeing on steam forums and reading the forums here I knew I had to purchase it to support you guys. x4000, you sold me on picking it up instead of something else just due to your support for it   

Also pointed a few others from other forums towards the game as a great deal and how great of a job you guys are doing on this title.

Funny you should ask, the sale just ended about 19 minutes ago, literally.

Nope.  Steam had a huge countdown timer on their front page for all of the holiday sales, which of course included AI War.  All of their discounts ended a 9am PST today.  They had originally said it was going to last through Jan 3rd, but it looks like they gave a bit of extra time at the end, the first 9 hours of the 4th.

That's unfortunate--well, hopefully the higher prices will equate to more profit, and yet yield happy customers.

I mean, that sale ran for something like 11.5 days, it had to end sometime.  And they stated from the start when it would run until; Steam set the timing of that, it was their holiday thing, not something specific to AI War.  And now the holidays are over..

Anyway, I wouldn't worry about never seeing another AI War sale, or anything like that.  We tend to do sales every couple of months, though generally of 30% and not 50%.
