The planet backgrounds (which image, and which position) aren't actually saved with the game, so any kind of save/load (which includes any kind of Manage Players activity) can change those, yes.  Not a problem :)

Ok thanks but I never remember it doing that before also Keith just wondering I may have noticed some other glitches, did you see those or should I repose them?

Edit: Just wanted to be sure because I know from what I read on the forms that AI War is going to be updated to 8.0 soon and just trying to help find glitches in the normal beta version of the game I am not in the expansion 6 beta but I am looking forward to its release and will buy it as soon as it comes out!

Superterminals still say the way to hack them is to take the planet. That is no longer true, in fact, that will destroy the superterminal now, IIRC. May want to update that text.

Wait, maybe I'm just forgetting, but is that actually how it works now?

I thought you captured the planet to start the hack, and killed the terminal to stop the hack.  If the hack gets out of control and you somehow have no way to kill the terminal then that can be a very dangerous thing.

Martyrs/warheads don't seem to be able to hit units in mark IV carriers.

You can see it clearly in the attached (on Terminus, order a martyr close to the carriers).

That's how it used to be, but now, IIRC, there is a super terminal hacker built from the hacking building thing. Just taking the planet destroys the superterminal now.

That's how it used to be, but now, IIRC, there is a super terminal hacker built from the hacking building thing. Just taking the planet destroys the superterminal now.

I tried to capture the super terminal and it does not self destroy it starts the hacking after you own the planet and I am on version 7.046 I never saw a hacking tool for it.

Edit: You just destroy it if you can to stop the hack its been this way for a long time and I do not think its ever been changed only increased in difficulty.

I think you're confusing the nomad beacon with the superterminal.

Maybe something has changed, I tried to hack the super terminal with different hacking tools and none of them worked for it or started lowering the AI Progress you should just have to capture the planet to start the super terminal hacking and lowering the AI Progress while increasing the floor value.

Edit: Also I just tried this today.

There's never been a hacker-deployed device for hacking the superterminal :)

You can see it clearly in the attached (on Terminus, order a martyr close to the carriers).
Turns out the martyrs were working, but the code for drawing their explosion range was not.  So when you held z over them it would show their tractor range, which is pretty small, rather than their rather enormous explosion range.  That's fixed for the next release.

In this case if you moved the martyr within tractor range of those 2 carriers in the mine-line it was actually also in range of the third carrier back closer to the wormhole, and sometimes the damage would hit that third carrier instead of one of the first two, making it look like it did nothing if you were just looking at the first two.

Just wondering is this a typo?

Flak Turret:

    Base cap-health from 60M*mk => 75M*mk.
    Base cap-DPS from 315k => 400k.

They never had that much health or attack before even after all stats were divided by 100!! This would make them invincible!! If you are talking about the build able turret or any turret for that matter!
