Unfortunately the screenshot didn't take, but I just had two planes each generating over 20k/second in scrap metal. Total production was something like 60k.

It's kind of out of hand in FS games. I've got every trader goodie except Ion Cannons on two planets, a nearly full spire fleet (don't have the research for dreadnaughts yet), and every mercenary ship built. I have 9 million metal I literally cannot spend.

The nice thinga bout this is that I was able to do it in well under half the time it took to do it the last time I tried to build something this crazy. So it definitely speeds things up, but when an exo breaks on a spire city, the 32% scrap I'm getting translates into "rush build a planetary armor booster in 2 minutes".

So I guess this is more of an observation than anything else. I'm not sure if anything should be done about it or not. Just noting that if you can build a solid chokepoint, the sheer amount of resources you get out of it will let you build stuff crazy fast.

Speaking of Salvage efficiency, I've only got 4% on my primary Whipping Boy.

Is there any way I can increase it there? I've got a Military Station Mark 1 deployed, along with defenses.

I'm playing a normal AI 7.0 game.

Salvage efficiency is (Currently) due mainly to the type of command station- the way to increase is is to upgrade/change the command station. The command station tooltips list the salvage amounts they each give.

Military II is 8%, and III is 12%.

Adding a Spire City hub adds 20% more.

How do I get those Spire City hubs?

I've got spire asteroids lying around, so playing with that actiavated. But no Fallen Spire game or anything like that (aint even familiar with it)

Spire City Hubs can only be built if Fallen Spire is on. They're crazy expensive, provide huge firepower, allow you to build gigantic modular death ships, and cause the AI to go bonkers.

And with the new salvage rules, they can actually become profitable at a good chokepoint (which is anywhere with a black hole machine so long as the AI has to go through it to get to you :D).

You don't even need a BHG, just a wormhole the AI has to go through. And oh, do you swim in metal with FS. I'm up to 8 cities right now, and I've seen 60k metal/s during exos.

FYI I'm targeting Wednesday noonish eastern time for 7.036.  Not a ton in the release notes (the stuff still to be added probably will be fixes/balance-stuff), as most of my time was going towards the AIW expansion.  Which I hope to give more info on soon, we'll see :)
