Just FYI, allied resistance fighters will go for guard posts even if the guard post belongs to a vengeful AI (mantis link will be added later)
Yes, I'm aware of that.  Making their targeting conditional on AI type would be a bit much, though.  Basically vengeful AIs are in the Hard category for a reason and hurt a lot (though they will hurt less in the next version), and the consequences of allies should be taken into consideration.

If it is easy to do so, could exos with a target of a unit currently cloaked not be able to tell where the cloaked target currently is within the planet (knowing which planet it is on is fine)? (http://www.arcengames.com/forums/index.php/topic,15760.0.html) I can cook up a save if desired.

If it is not easy (I'm guessing "event logic" code can be rather involved at times), then I am fine with waiting a few more patches.


Also, in case you weren't aware, we have began our "compilation of text problems Mk. IV". This may be a bit too early in the cycle for such polish touchups though. (http://www.arcengames.com/mantisbt/view.php?id=12013)

Thanks for the reminder on the exos-chasing-cloaked-ships thing.  I've put in a change that will make the exo logic not knowingly give an attack order targeting a cloaked ship.  I'm not sure exactly what will happen in such a case; probably the exo will try to murder anything else that's sitting around on the target's planet, out of frustration.  Or maybe it will just sit there, as the AI thread tries pretty hard to not give other orders to ships on a galaxy-wide-chase.

And I do see the text-issue-compilation thing, but I'll just let it stack up for now as the main point is to get most/all of what's needed at once :)  Though I'll make a point to do it early enough so there's time to catch ones I missed (or misunderstood) before the official.

This looks like a very nice "cleaning up issues" patch. I see you are starting to tackle those mantis issues. :)
