Wow, so even on "supported" configurations, text boxes can be glitchy in Unity?

Wow, good to know it isn't just wine screwing around with things. ;)

A and B
I'm sure it seemed like a good idea at the time to some poor junior programmer.

Did they ever find enough for a positive ID?

Probably not.  It shipped that way, so they probably couldn't even find anyone to perform maintenance on it.

But the game can run on the later version, and it does work in native linux.  But there's still critical things (mainly the textbox thing) that we've yet to work around before we could release it that way.

I just wanted to add a personal note and say that with all the extra visibility linux has been getting (in large part to the looming SteamOS stuff) I have been able to stay booted in linux these days and get quite a lot of gaming done.  AI War remains at the top of my list of favorite games and it would like to see make it to linux eventually.  Its the sort of thing I'd be willing to invest in with time or money or both to help make happen.

Thanks Keith, I'm am anxious to hear about your newst game and to continue to enjoy your efforts on any platform.
