Naw, that's not hacking. That's the Hybrids again.
In regards to the AI hacking the human player--I disagree with this one. Keep in mind that the AI gets little, if anything, from hacking for designs. The humans start with (typically) one planet. The AI has the
rest of the galaxy. Hacking makes sense in the human's hands because they need to take part in guerrilla warfare--defeat the AI without drawing too much ire. Hacking makes sense in that context. If the AI really wanted to dispatch the humans, it would just outright kill them. If you doubt this, play a high-AIP 10/10 game without superweapons.
