Isn't there a similar issue with fixed-cap tractoring ship types?

Which is infact a trap by itself, because theres a singing detector attached to the next trap.

Waves got harder after this patch. In addition to waves having more ships some of the ships are replaced with like ~20 Mark V Guardians which insta destroy everything.

Um, there aren't supposed to be guardians in waves :)  Do you have a save from before a wave that does this?

A wave with Guardians will spawn in ~40 seconds in SHC-27192. The Guardians are in the Carriers.

............. I would have been able to stop both of those waves if it wasn't for the Guardians........ brb gonna restart my game.............................. I would rather take 2 thousand ships or more than those guardians.... they bring way more firepower than what they "replace".. if I've understood right some of the ships are replaced with Mark V Guardians because otherwise there would be way too many ships and the game would lag like hell.

EDIT: sometimes there's 20 Guardians and sometimes 5.
EDIT 2: now there was 0 Guardians.

Oh, I see what you mean.  The carriers are actually not carrying guardians, but if you kill the guardians prematurely AND there's already a high number of AI ships on the planet the game combines the contents of the carriers into more powerful individual units (retaining the total amount of Strength, but that all depends on whether the Strength values are actually accurate, of course) so that your game doesn't lag to death.

So were you actually shooting the carriers (manually or through the auto-target carriers toggle) or were they deploying by themselves into guardians? 

If you just kill all the fleet ships without killing the carriers (the carriers will be untouched if you leave auto-target-carriers off) the carriers should automatically deploy just their normal contents as "room" becomes available.

Yea, they don't like being blown up.  It's still sometimes better than letting them live because they hit pretty hard.  But generally speaking they never hit as hard as their contents actually would.

Also, in 6.028 I did make the carrier auto-deploy logic a lot more aggressive, so you shouldn't be having to kill the carriers yourselves anymore if you're killing all the attendant fleet ships.

As much as I try to keep up with two constantly changing games... It just isn't possible to catch every detail all the time :)   I did see the .028 change, I just haven't had time to play with it (Skyward is eating time like crazy right now :)).
