That data was before 6.006, when each individual eye had the same chance of spawning as a different brutal post.

Recent games have had an even distribution of eyes and other stuff.
If warheads can't solve it, use more warheads.

No, that's actually after 6.006.  The data was from 1/2/2013 and 6.006 came out 11/13/2012.

If you were referring to a different sample, that was unclear.

I say the most important issue is to fix the special forces "too eager debt forgiveness" allowing it to get too many low cap ships (we have logs to prove it this time, not just hearsay and grumbling ;))

This is the data, from Kahula/Chemical Art, which is the post I linked to in "sample data":

Kahula I tried experimenting the AI eye logic on 10/10, and in 100% of my games (of a set of 20 games) at least one AI HW had an eye. It seems to be coded that one is a given.

Oops. Sorry. Yes, that was totally wrong.

We still need one of them to confirm it was post-patch, though.

And my post-patch games have shown the expected distribution for even probabilities.

I apologize for forgetting (or perhaps not noticing to begin with), but where are those logs?  Probably some mantis record you've linked in my general direction a few dozen times, I'm guessing ;)

Maybe I'll recheck, but as far as I can remember, this data was collected this patch, and no previous patch has addressed AI eye probabilities.

I can recheck it if you want. It's not terribly hard.

Yea, in the case where the AI gets lots of mostly low ship cap unlocks (not at all unlikely for some AI types), the current SF logic will severely be thrown off its intention. In that first case, the actual cost was 10x the points that it was actually given.

The other suggestions brought up in that thread are mostly "nice to haves", but this is a severe balance issue in a very possible circumstance.

I'd argue the Enclaves are high priority as well, as they are both unbalanced and cause lag.
