It's selectable in Controls. Not on by default.

Which gives me an idea for a challenge: Having a nuke II on FRD on your homeworld.
The AI doesn't pay the Mutually Assured Destruction game very well.  Executes CallBluff() far too often.

Yes, well.

The Doomsday Clock starts at 1 minute to midnight when you begin a new game.

You want to make it even closer to midnight by building a Mk II nuke, let alone FRDing it on your homeworld?

You only need to hide in the next galaxy if it's a Mk3 nuke. ;)

That's a dangerously low degree of looking ahead.

Against a stealth master and backdoor hacker... with trains, hives, and neinzul enclaves.

The Doomsday Clock starts at 1 minute to midnight when you begin a new game.

I think that the clock should read several minutes past midnight: we lost the war, after all.

I guess the remaining Atomic Scientists could have reset it.
If warheads can't solve it, use more warheads.

Exactly what I thought.

Aww, I can't have my jumpships made of cheese anymore.
I am looking forward to the new scenario, unfortunately I already did all of them in my current game.
The exo shift, however, I should feel. I am relieved.

Also glad to see that the new brutals cannot be cloaked-warheaded (due to 120 million health).
If warheads can't solve it, use more warheads.

I'm not really sure that the clock should be past midnight - The point of the clock is the countdown to nuclear war - If it was a nuclear war, then half the planets we encounter should be already nuked (idea: new minor plot, post-nuclear war. Planets are randomly unsettled by the ai because they were nuked).

So the clock could easily be still before midnight..

Minor problem: champions can still be loaded into transports.

Depends on how cooperative it is.
If warheads can't solve it, use more warheads.
