I'll throw a line out and wait how long it takes till Keith finds it.

There is a problem with the Fortress King's forts itself.
Not getting it :)

When I tested them they were:
a) acting as a command station
b) being hard to kill
c) killing human ships in droves
d) mounting modules
e) not causing missing-texture or missing-loca errors

Which, I think, are the only 5 things required of them ;)

Unless you mean finding a problem with the line itself, as grammatically I would expect it to be "There is a problem with the Fortress King's forts themselves."

Since "I Am Become Death, Destroyer Of Forcefields" is too long, "Siege Master".

Sniper stuff could be included, but I think it would dilute it ;)

Good point, wouldn't want to dilute the Siege Master.

Perhaps there's room for Sniper and Gravity Sniper AIs.

Sniper (Lockdown):
Snipers, Sentinel Frigate, Sniper  Guardians, Radar Jammer (Mk1 only, no Mk2); (Lockdown:) Spider Bots, Riot Control Starships, Spider Guardians, Tractor Guardians, NOT tractor platforms (by default, at least, still available randomly), Paralyzers might be overboard
Gravity Sniper:
Snipers, Sentinel Frigates, Sniper Guardians, Gravity Drills(!), Gravity Guardians, Gravity Rippers, Gravity Drains

An AI that heavily abused logistics command stations (or, worse, grav drills) and riot control starships... yea, maybe give an achievement for winning without breaking any keyboards.

The Grav Driller is one of the more frustrating (albeit not hard) AIs I've faced. Even moreso when you're a champion :P

I agree;  Grav Driller is my favorite AI type.  Resources + Chokepoint all in one!  In fact, I'm always disappointed that even on Diff 10, a Grav Driller AI doesn't even get 50% systems with drills :(

And I've always wondered why the Grav Driller AI type doesn't get auto-unlock of the Gravity Drain and Gravity Ripper ship types, plus a bonus to Gravity Guardian spawn rates.

There're actually two problems, one major, one minor.  The minor one is very amusing, I'll agree.

It's fine, although I laugh when rotters have over twice the cap and individually are much more frail but have 100k...so I thought I'd ask  :)

Haha, I'm picturing the ship as basically a giant gun with thrusters welded on to it. I haven't gotten to see it, so it's kinda funny to take some of these things out of context.

I'm remembering one of the old dreadnaught revamps back before the Plasma Siege was settled on, the description went something like:

"Not so much a ship as a gun with engines strapped to it...."

As much as I bash the zenith sieges, they are currently the only ship that can efficiently clean out the fortress king in my experience so far, and even it takes two full assaults till I get them to III that I can take the forts out.
