Figures.

Never mind.

This DOES bring up a different bug.

I found my shard about 5 feet away from the final wormhole to home. Yet the journal event already fired. It's why I thought the shard was home. I tend to tell shard "go home" then ignore it then next journal fires. In this case the journal fired before it was fully home. It also somehow got the order to stop. This is further indicated if you load up my save, and I move the shard the final 5 feet, then the journal event does not fire for it did already.

Changes for 5.050 are being propagated to the wiki. NB: 5.046 hasn't, I think.

It has been a few patches, yes.

Keith is just enthusiastic which is a very good thing.

I'm trying to find time but we are having an open house of our new home this weekend and any free time I've had has been lost to getting ready for that.

I intend to get to it on the weekend but we'll see.

I've finished the 5.046 as well - looking back over the ten patches prior, that should be all of it.

I think I've found another bug,,, Unless there's been a change to the zombies and they are supposed to follow waypoints ^^* Check Shohasyi and see the zombies make a line. (Done with a redirector on the first homeplanet and one in shohasyi). Might not be apparant by the SS but Shohasyi is a 6 wormhole planet.

This bug is moderatley old. When an allied/owned zombie or a patrolling allied minor faction enters a planet, they will sometimes follow normal rally/waypoint structures for a split second before proceeding with their normal logic. However, under times of lots of activity, sometimes that split second becomes several seconds. ;)

Really? Coo, didn't know that ^^* Well,,, it doesn't seem to be a few seconds,,,  From Lueroni to Dujje to Asdem to Luerori. Lueroni to Dujje passes through 5 worlds. Dujje to Asdem is another 5 worlds, Asdem to Luerori is yet another 5 worlds... Might be due to the massive amounts of units but,,, Does seem a lil bit strange ^^*

I really like this patch.  It makes the "Starship Strategy" somewhat viable again.  With the Flagships being cut into 3 different parts, plus the overall buffs to the Parasite, Riot and Siege Starships, you could run a halfway decent Starship Army.

We don't really want running around the galaxy with a bunch of starships and no support to be all that viable (that's what FS is for if you want that kind of thing), but yea, they can be cooler than they have been :)

Don't much care for the starship spam "strategy"  :P, but whatever works for people! Triangles all the way.  8)

Also, just a note of appreciation for exercising restraint and wisdom on creating a botnet minor faction.

I've always liked the "mixed units" approach.

A number of starships and other VIPS  (spire ships)  make a core. While a nenzul enclave pumps out FRD zerg ships (younglings, autobombs) with the occasional fighter and rarely a bomber or frigate. The end result is the cheap ship antagonize and clean up while the core remains useful but mostly unscathed.

Extra Starships also help if you find too many Eyes in the game.

I know it happened a few updates back, but the MK V starships you can capture feel much better.

The Warbirds are a joy to have as a rapid response fleet.

Haha well maybe somewhat was the keyword here.  It's still nowhere near viable as pretty much any fleetship strat, but it's there nonetheless.  It might be good if you have a some teammates going fleetships - Could be ideal for planets with Eyes ;p

Sorry if somebody already asked/answered this, I didn't see it. How will the botnet golems as a new faction affect current in progress games with golems enabled? Or is it best to wait on updating for there to be a new game.

No effect.  If you have them already in your system, bonus for you.  Since you didn't turn on the Botnet Faction, you don't get the penalties for having a botnet.  The stats on the Botnet changed a bit though.  In other words, have fun.
