There's the odd incident there, on the left. As you can see, planet Dimune has appeared to been scouted, but No ships have ever been there.

Got any ship swallowers? Could be something getting nabbed by a maw, which dragged it back a few jumps and then died to who knows what and released the ship, which lived for only half a second alone on an AI world and then got blown up. Kind of a long shot, but it's one scenario that could potentially cause this.

Is that a LotS ship? Because I don't own that particular expansion, I'm really thinking this was just either a weird bug or the game mislabeled a Colony Rebellion.

Well, this was just a pretty small issue that doesn't seem to be affecting gameplay at all. (Unless that's a rebelling human colony. Then I'm in trouble. D: )

I just mean in general. What if the question garners a really helpful response which, due to it being tucked away in here, the next person to encounter such a thing never gets to see?

And it's not like this forum is inundated with new topics!

Anyway, it wasn't meant as a criticism. Topics on here have a tendency to ramble off the point and involve all and sundry anyway - it's a pretty laid back atmosphere. So this sort of thing is common. I just thought it odd that you thought starting a new topic would somehow be a bad thing!

But that's exactly the point, starting a new topic would be missing a valuable opportunity to derail the thread!

So it happened again on a different random planet, so I guess it's not a colony rebellion. On the screenshot I posted earlier, Tyran apparently has had my ships go to it, which is odd since the other planets they would have to have passed in order to reach it have not been scouted. But hey, whatever. I should check if they're actually alerted though, because that might be a problem later on.
