This is so trivial I dont even want to post a mantis report about it and just do it here so it can be forgotten ..
The game displays date's at certain times, every time I start the game of load a game I think I lost a few months of my life ..  ::)

It's the US format, sorry.  ;)  If it makes you feel any better, we have the same reaction when we look at the European formats.

you just hit +10 speed to wait for your ships to rebuild after every battle

This actually leads to an overall quicker game usually due to (usually) better K:D and thus even less to rebuild compared to piecemealing your attacks if you're not wasting resources all the time and not making serious tactical errors on more than half of the planets.

Well, it just rather depends -- I meant if they were throwing away every attack force and then rebuilding from the ground up without consideration for how their tactics went.  I've seen that before, but that's different from what you do.

I've uploaded that game with a bug report to Mantis with the speed 8 problem as I mentioned earlier. So far only the Chayarra system has exhibited this behavior.

Question I forgot to ask earlier; Are the Spire Gravity Drains working as intended? I ask this due to a previous game where they were their own group and were never the first group sent in for assaults but got creamed consistently and ended up being a huge production bottleneck. A lot of the spire ships are nasty and take time to build, but these just didn't seem to work out well.

Last I checked, they were working fine.  But they aren't meant to be working as solo ships, more as support of other ships, so sending them out alone is not a very good idea.

That's why I'm concerned. I send them in as the third group in assaults, so the first two groups should already be engaged. They were all their own group but they were group 3. Group one is fighters and bombers and group two is missile frigates (with other ships added based on speed), so them getting chewed so badly seemed doubly worse considering.

I gotcha -- if you don't mind opening up a mantis issue, we'd be happy to look at it when we can in the next week or so as we pass through stuff in preparation for the next official.  I'm not aware of any issues, but maybe they need another look, not sure.

Will do. It may just be something I'm doing wrong but you never know until you ask. Any ship that I try that I don't like how it performs for me always bothers me as I like trying stuff out and hate losing options, and I wonder if I'm just using them badly.

All good -- thanks!  Those haven't had a whole lot of testing just yet, I don't think.

Wow, you fixed so much stuff, but here you go and keep fixing more stuff. Planning on a release so we can test it throughout the weekend? (No pressure, just curious)

Yep, within just a few minutes.  The to-do-or-triage-soon list is down to under 200 issues!  Woohoo!  It's like some sort of miracle. ;)
