Have you built a habitation center at your first city hub?
Once I did that i got my next survey, then once completed, a new signal.

Ugg... the same error happened again on a new game. This time it happened during the 2nd LotS event counter-wave though. I hope this gets fixed soon so I can try out some more LotS content. On another note, is there certain criteria that the Spire Maw's need to "load" enemies? At first they usually load them, but on the 2nd planet they never seemed to load any more, even of the same type. And they still had plenty of space. All they did was fire their guns at them...

the thing is, I DID complete the survey, nothing happened after it though. no shard, no nothing.

I know you are like full on just testing the new LotS stuff but any chance you can fix the AI Eye and the AI Superterminal, they've been broken as they don't spit out units since 3-4 beta patches ago and it feels a bit wrong.

I would like to add that I'm now patiently waiting for next step of spire storyline  8)

(And I'm afraid to play this save... next special attack will be probably "fun" ;) )

( Err 6k + 12k knowledge.. you could give some hints to stockpile it in journals :D )

Pretty please reduce the special wave scaling a bit more... I didn't lost yet but I think I just died with economical death. Wave came which had total of 411k points and I barely defended from it with all the cities intact - but my economy is now dead from all that rebuilding things around all my planets. About half of my spire frigates kind of died also along the way.

Turrets are very costly to rebuild and their staying power (even Mk III ones) leaves much to be desired - either they should be a bit cheaper or maybe more durable.. ?

I am still struggling in my other game to get more cities, but I need to save up 18k knowledge?? Because that means tons of raiding or may planets captured and my resources are stretched as is  :)

I had 6k so I unlocked battleship - there is a next one for 12k and colony ship also. That menu is currently a bit under production I think since most of the icons are missing in it.

I won't survive next attack anyway :D

Ah, I was not aware I needed knowledge in the spire plot line. I will try adn save some for when I get that far, but my current game is kind of nasty already and I spent lots of knowledge for my defense, out of necessity :)

I ended up with 26 planets, all of turrets unlocked, force fields III, forts I and triangle ships to Mk III.

But attack waves have %-age increase which makes them asymptotically increasing. I was simply to slow in this game probably since I managed to get to galactic hub at 27'th hour.

Yeah, they keep om coming ;)

I got a new game going with only 1 choke point (and lucky me, it had a grav drill I can use :) ), and 7.6 AIs not 8's. Gonna see how that turns out.
