scouts question

so I'm seeing funny blue lines zapping each other if we have two scouts together..what does that actually mean? amplifies something?

Yeah, that's called "cloak boosting". I guess it means that it's harder to detect the guy being cloak-boosted (i.e. you have to bring more tachyon units in to detect them).

From what I know cloak boosted unit can't be decloaked by tachyons. This is a way to make sure that some of your scouts will survive to explore further - since they need to be killed from the non-cloak boosted ones first. Higher mark scouts can boost more of them - this adds to their effectiveness.
