Sleep two hours less and play then?  :)
If I sleep less than 9 hours I die.

Read descriptions, read descriptions and um.. read descriptions. And just try stuff (ai plots, ai options, minor factions etc.). Read descriptions. Also theorycraft: think what might work and why would it work. Keep AIP as low as possible. Always before you capture or destroy a planey ask yourself why should you do it. What are you going to accomplish by doing it. Is it worth the (minimum of) 20 AIP increase. Know how much the +20 AIP increases the wave sizes. Same with research unlocks. Don't forget to read descriptions. Also don't forget to check the Global Controls aka the CTRL button in lower left corner.

I'm pretty sure it's still possible to beat 10/10. At least without Golems/Spirecraft. Haven't tried Superweapons for a long time. Golems have been buffed by a lot.
Yea, I'm sure it's still possible, but I believe it requires more effort/luck/patience/savescumming than previously.  I didn't want to buff it to obviously-unwinnable levels, but rather to a point where players like you and Faulty can do well in the game but not ultimately win.  So it's kind of a tennis game.

Too bad I don't have time to do anything atm (I wake up 5am, leave for work at 6am, am at work at 8am, work for 8 hours, am home at 7pm and go sleep at 8pm).
Ouch, sorry the schedule's so packed; 5 hours of commute doesn't help.

High five!
(I'm already dead, man, haven't been sleeping too well since June)

Yeah that sounds good.
10 Doom should be barely unwinnable. 9,8 Mini Doom should be barely winnable.. a bit like 10 is atm.

I am saddened by my inability to locate the "album" containing all of the new tracks of music on steam.

Should be in RuntimeData\Expansions\6\Music\Ingame\ ; do you not see ogg files there?

No new title track? I suppose Pablo thought the Vengeance one was so good there was no purpose in making another attempt at the art  :P

Rest of the OST more than makes up for it, though :D Short and sweet!

I asked him not to do a new title track, as I felt like there we're plenty and they take a disproportionate amount of time compared to the in-game tracks.

Hi, I just wanted to say thanks for Linux support. I played this a long time ago on someone else's computer and liked it, but using WINE was too much of a pain. So yeah. Cheers :).
