I think that it is the rarity of them that give them their effect. I wish that the words themselves applied to the situation more, as it saying "You didn't think that would work did you?" does not work when said as it sends a wave at your teams turtled homeworlds. More and different tunts are good, but I say keep them on the rare side, or they will quickly become repetitive annoyances.

More are planned, but that will just make them more varied, not more frequent, as you say.  Right now there are six or seven, we plan to double that or more.  Pablo's time is rather limited at the moment, but he's got a big list of them as well as the other things on his plate (sound effect upgrades, etc).

The AI taunts should presently always be effective, you might just not be realizing what it is really taunting you about in some cases.  It doesn't taunt you when sending waves against you, but it will taunt you if you lost a lot of ships on its planet, it did not, and then you withdraw your ships to defend against that wave.

Ah. We were in a 5 player multiplayer game, so that may have happened to someone. We were fighting on 3 fronts, and my homeworld was one of those fronts.

I was a little too busy to know what was happening elsewhere  :D

More than "Understandable", I think that it is totally awesome! Having an AI that has 5 players that busy is one heck of a feat.

Sometimes when an AI taunts me, I nuke 'em.  Ha!  How'd that feel! Not so big now, are ya!... Wait, why am I insulting my computer??   ;D

You say that now, but later on that 50 AI progress is gonna hurt. ;]

What can I say, I'm a glutton for punishment!  ;D  Though, I rarely use nukes.  Always build them though.  When it looks likely that I'll lose....Boom!  If I'm going down, I'm taking you buggers with me!  :D

Me either, but I'm very tempted to use one just to see what it looks like. I'm a sucker for blowing stuff up ;D

There are gonna be some good taunts coming your way! As soon as I finish editing some in game sound effects, I will get right on it.

There are also new tracks (as well as some funny bonus tracks) that will be in place before October 1st. Thanks for all the great suggestions!
