Percentages on the unit selection screen?

In AI War pre-v4.0, total unit health percentages were displayed in the "unit selection screen box" on the bottom right hand part of the screen.  These health percentages were very useful in determining, specifically, how well your capital ships were doing, as well as certain other groups of units from time to time.  Though I've looked through all the options, I can't find a way to turn them on again, which greatly saddens me.

Is there any way to enable unit health percentages in the selection box again?  Or was it removed?
