Warp Jammer Capabilities

I have a question about the extent of the Warp Jammer Command Station's capabilities.

Does it block all types of AI warp attacks, or just normal waves? Does it work on counterattack waves?
What about the special wormhole on an AI home planet? If I took out one home command station
and put a Jammer on it, would it prevent Exo Waves or other reinforcements from spawning there?

Pretty sure Warp Jammers block all normal attack waves, including those from Counterattack Guard Posts and Warp Gate Guardians.  They're more reliable than gate raiding in that respect.

Not sure about exo waves, though.

Not sure if they stop warpgates from spawning exos (I would expect not), but warp jammer stations most certainly do not stop planets from being targets of exos. Same thing with threat (and thus CPAs) and hybrids, those can still "target" warp jammer'ed planets.

However, due to the fact they don't put adjacent AI worlds on alert, this does indirectly reduce the chances that some of these will "swing by" said planet, if positioned properly.

The specific scenario that got me interested in this was a Maze A map that is similar to a snake, but with some branches. One of the AI homeworlds is along the main route to the other homeworld, rather than being off on a branch. I was wondering if I could stop the homeworld that is on the route from spawning units for an exo wave if, after I took it out, I built a Warp Jammer on the planet specifically.

I know the flavor text on the exo galactic wormholes say they can't be closed without shutting down the AI, but I thought maybe after you killed one, you might be able to jam the wormhole on that planet.

If not, oh well, I'll just adapt my strategy.

I'd be really surprised if worked that way, unless Keith snuck that feature in, just to see how long before anyone noticed.  Perhaps some !!SCIENCE!! is in order?

 I've built a warp jammer on a captured AI homeworld to stop the exo-wormhole acting as a warp gate before, so unless I misremember or it got changed this works.

I'd imagine it would stop ordinary attack waves warping in, as a planet with a Warp Jammer can't be targetted by ordinary attack waves.  But did it have any influence on exo-waves, like you get from Golems Hard or from destroying core guard posts with Lazy AI off?
