zenith mirror and forcefields
« on: November 30, 2014, 01:58:25 am »
so, basically if they mirror shots that come from under the forcefield neither the attacker itself gets any damage in return nor does the forcefield take damage. is that correct? just something i noticed, might be cool if the fortress shots take the forcefield down. but that's just wishful thinking, i guess ^^

So the AI had a fortress under a forcefield, and the fortress shot your mirrors, and your mirrors reflected the shots, but the shots did no damage to either the forcefield or the fortress?  Sounds like a bug to me.  Though remember that mirrors can't reflect damage onto anything outside their firing range, so if you were too far away that could explain what happened.  (I can't remember whether the reflection actually animates in that case.)

To me it seems like Zenith Mirrors never reflect anything.
