Core Worlds, Scouts, and Neinzul Spawners
« on: February 14, 2012, 09:06:17 pm »
Um, Ow?

Are the Neinzul spawners SUPPOSED to trigger when a scout goes by?

Ow ow ow ow ow... Let's just say there's no way I was stopping 1500 Neinzul Cockroaches at that point.

Though, this is a pretty dang funny AI 10 AAR...

IIRC yes, the cockroach clusters are aggro'd by anything, including scouts.
I'd take a sea worm any time over a hundred emotionless spinning carriers.

Gaaaah, that seems a little silly to me, but alright.

That's interesting... I popped in and out of an AI home-world with two of these cockroach clusters, using a permacloaked scout-IV, and they haven't been aggroed by that.

I got decloaked by the Tachyon whatsit and it was sitting almost directly on the wormhole.  Thus trigger, thus kablewie, thus very very *blink, wow* death.

My poor MK 1/2 Maws never had a chance trying to eat that many ships.  I'll give 'em credit, they gave it a go, though.

It's not like I would have won that game anyway. I freed a dyson sphere that was hanging off 3 coreworlds before I realized said Coreworlds were there.  I can only imagine how that would have turned out.

freeing the dyson sphere didn't matter. the core worlds would have reinforced massively anyway because of the bordering dyson sphere. So you were basically doomed the moment you started the game :D

I'll make a note to change dyson sphere seeding to not be adjacent to core worlds either; it's kinda borderline but still a "magen says gg" situation ;)
