DoT Weapons

Introducing a new type of weapon, (and or ammo type) DoT weapons!!!

Hey, how would it work you say? Why, it's the same thing as setting a person on fire or poisoning them! In my thread http://arcengames.com/forums/index.php/topic,5624.0.html We agree on DoT weapons are very very cool.
What will it be called then? The ship can be called: the burner, or the poisoner, or the "ship with DoT weapons" either one is good, as long the ammo type is called : radiation or poison or burn.
Back to the thread, how would it work? After hitting your target, and your hits will stack, your enemy will continue to sustain damage every second of their miserable lives (or just a minute if you want to) That will teach them to run away from you!!! But wait, there's more, training your weapon on high health enemies is also extremely useful, whether it will do more damage over time, or simply making it sustain damage every second, you will be please to see such target's health going away at a constant speed.Making it damage 1 for 60 seconds will mean every shot is 60 damage, as stacking these shots will not influence the total damage.  Making it damage 10 for 60 seconds and you got yourself a standard ship, making it damage certain ships for 100 for 60 seconds and you got your self a standard coward killing , bully destroying machine!

Thats not how forums work. Leave the suggestion threads in the suggestion forum and leave the general discussion here.

Also, feedback is a singular noun.

To get more visibility, I suggest during the next round of Poll nominations, nominate your topic. In the meantime, keep it popular in the suggestion forum to stir interest.

I'm going to agree with the above posters, do not post this in the general forum as it is not appropriate to this area.  (In other words, follow the Forum rules).

You have been doing a much better job of conforming to site rules, but this... Yea, what they said up there. Sorry.

Well, since we have so many child forums, i decided to give the refined idea to the people, in the main forum, and as you can see, it did a very good job. ;)

common lighten up, let's see how many people here have "dual cores", anyone with a single core at 2.2 gh can run this smoothly

Dual core for me, and it doesn't drain that much CPU power. I think it's cool too 8)

This thread is being locked.  What they said up there is quite right, putting suggestions in the main forum creates more work for us (eventually we have to file it), and isn't an acceptable way to try to boost the popularity of your suggestions.
